Aaron Apodaca

No Gi Instructor

Aaron’s jiu-jitsu journey started with a visit to his brothers academy in Indianapolis. Aaron’s older brothers at the time had been training jiu-jitsu for roughly a year at this point, while Aaron himself was attending Judo classes here locally.

Upon arriving at the academy his brothers were training at, Aaron was nervous about attending a jiu-jitsu class. Aaron was introduced to one of the head instructors Jon Correa who was a newly promoted black belt.

Upon being introduced Aaron was amazed at how extremely friendly and helpful everyone was at the Academy. So much in fact he immediately sought a jiu-jitsu academy here in Bakersfield with the same atmosphere.
